-Johnson was reportedly engaged to Tila Tequila.

-Johnson was awaiting trial for grand theft.

Casey Johnson, an heiress to the Johnson & Johnson fortune, has died .. TMZ has learned.

She died in L.A. We're told the body was discovered this morning.

She was 30 years old. Her father is Woody Johnson -- owner of the New York Jets.

Johnson was arrested in November for grand theft -- the alleged victim was a former girlfriend.

Johnson was reportedly engaged to Tila Tequila. We spoke with Tila a few minutes ago. She says they were fighting last week and that Casey stayed at Tila's house on the 28th. Tila tried contacting Casey on the 29th because Casey had left her dogs behind. Tila says Casey's phone has been shut off since the 29th and she was not able to make contact.

UPDATE: A law enforcement source tells TMZ it appears Johnson had been dead for several days before her body was discovered.

Johnson & Johnson Heiress Charged

TMZ has learned Casey Johnson -- heir to the Johnson & Johnson fortune -- has been charged with two felonies for allegedly stealing a bunch of stuff from her former girlfriend.

Johnson has been charged with first degree residential burglary and receiving stolen property.

The felony complaint alleges the burglary of Jasmine Lennard's home occurred between October 15 and November 17 of this year -- and Casey allegedly received stolen goods "on or about November 30."

The missing items include lingerie, personal mail, clothing, jewelry, a camera and handbags -- law enforcement sources tell TMZ it was all worth around $22,000.

Casey is due back in court later this month.

Alleged Johnson & Johnson burgl-heir Casey Johnson is staring down another serious accusation -- according to her ex, the giant "diamond" engagement ring Casey gave to Tila Tequila is not only used ... it's a FAKE.



Socialite Courtenay Semel -- who claims Johnson let her wear the exact same ring back when they were dating (pictured top left) -- tells us, "the engagement ring given to Tequila by Johnson was not purchased for her ... It is absolutely not real as Casey is well aware."

But Tila claims Semel is full of it, telling us via text message, "My fianceé just bought it for me and today she just bought me another 5 karat canary ring."
